A durable jacket for tough climbing routes
The Pala Hooded Jacket from Ortovox is perfect for climbing long, alpine routes on rough crags. Its extremely abrasionresistant Merino Shield Tec material passes more than 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which is the standard procedure used to test abrasion resistance. This means that it can defy any rock face, no matter how rough. It’s also been equipped with additional reinforcements at highwear areas, such as the shoulders, forearms and hips. In addition, the comfortable softshell Pala Hooded Jacket provides lots of freedom of movement thanks to its way stretch material, the athletic fit and the articulated elbows.
Special design and features
Thanks to its membranefree construction, the fine merino wool lining and the merino mesh inserts at the collar and waistband, the jacket is guaranteed to be breathable and comfortable. It’s completed by elastic cuffs and hem and an adjustment at the hem that ensure a good fit and more mobility.
The features at a glance:
- Maximum durability and mobility
- Pleasant features
- Sustainable wool and PFCfree production
