HOKAdevelops shoes that boast optimal cushioning over long distances and especially when running downhill. Visually this is noticeable through the special form of the midsole, the Metarocker. This is especially prominent for the Tennine Hike GTX and literally outstanding!
The special construction of the sole, which juts out over the heel, ensures a soft step and protection of the joints especially on downhill stretches. At the same, the form enables a natural gait cycle and quick steps. Because of this, the shoe ensures quick and comfortable forward motion also on flat and uphill stretches.
The robust finish with reinforcements in the toe area and highquality metal buckles give the Tennine Hike GTX a durability that make it ideally suited to long adventures. This is ensured not least by the outsole, which is made of abrasionresistant and grippy Vibram Megagrip, with studs that provide good stability even on loose and slushy surfaces. As protection against moisture, a waterproof GORETEX membrane is integrated into the shoe. It is therefore no problem to run in bad weather or wade through shallow rivers.
The design is distinctively typical of HOKA and ensures a fashionable look. However, this shoe definitely offers more than just a casual look, boasting technical details and exceptional running comfort!
